MP Report
The Consequences of Trudeau's Failures

It has been four weeks since the House of Commons returned from the Summer Break. In that time, the consequences of Justin Trudeau’s failures have become even more apparent.
On the very first day back, MP Leona Alleslev left the Liberal caucus, denouncing the Prime Minister’s record, including his disastrous economic policies.

There is still no plan to get the Trans Mountain Expansion Project off the ground.  The Liberals bought the old Kinder Morgan pipeline for $4.5 billion and early estimates tell us that the expansion project will be another $7 - $10 billion on top of the original purchase price.  To add insult to injury, the Liberal’s Bill C-69 could ensure that no pipeline will ever be built in this country again.

Meanwhile, the Liberals negotiated a trade deal with the United States in which Canada gained nothing and the Liberals were left scrambling to salvage what they could from the old agreement.  This disastrous deal was agreed without any assurances that the tariffs crippling our steel and aluminum workers would be
lifted, that our softwood lumber industry would continue to be viable, or that ‘Buy America’ policies would be removed.

But Justin Trudeau’s failures have even more serious ramifications for the safety and well-being of Canadians.

Justin Trudeau’s Liberals are reaching out to imprisoned terror suspects like ‘Jihadist Jack’ and inviting them back to Canada, with a focus on ‘reintegration’’ rather than criminal prosecution.

The Liberals have overseen the transfer of convicted child killer Terri-Lynne McClintic from behind bars to a minimum security healing lodge, and a convicted cop-killer who isn't a Veteran, is receiving Veterans Affairs benefits after developing PTSD as a result of the murder he committed.

To make matters even worse, the Liberals are now withholding key documents in a court case involving a decorated Vice-Admiral, in what appears to be a concerted political cover-up that implicates some of their top ministers.

Canadians need a government that will look out for their safety and security and won’t get in their way as they try to get ahead.  Trudeau is so focused on his image he is neglecting his most important responsibilities while leading this country.

If these first few weeks are any indication, I suspect this next year is going to be a very bumpy ride for Canadians.
